Praxis project Space & Gallery
ABOUT:
A pop-up gallery project that activates empty storefronts with arts and cultural programming. This project supports emerging and experimental artists with exhibition opportunities, free professional practice programming, and community building for artists. Following the January 3rd opening, regular gallery hours are 2PM-6PM Wednesday through Friday, and 11AM to 2PM Saturdays.
This project is a collaboration between local artist and arts professional, Anna Warfield and ChaShaMa, a nonprofit that helps create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world by partnering with property owners to transform unused real estate. This project is made possible with the generous support of ChaShaMa, NYSCA, and the Community Foundation for South Central New York.

Grand Opening - Friday, January 3rd, 6pm-9pm | Join Praxis for its grand opening for its debut exhibition, Time Enough at Last, featuring visual artists Alyssa Micha and Petra during the First Friday Art Walk. Live performance at 8PM by Dhyani James and Jazmine Monae. Time Enough at Last is on view January 3rd through February 1st.
Artist Coffee Hour - Saturday, January 11th, 12pm-1pm | Calling all creatives! Bring your own coffee or tea and join us at 85 Court St to connect with fellow creatives. This is a low pressure chance to chat about art things.
Art Book Show And Tell - Saturday, January 18th, 11:30am-1pm | Bring your favorite artist book(s) and join us at 85 Court St. for a group show and tell.
